The Spaniard is confident the Blancos are well-equipped to challenge for honours after claiming their collective effort should see them out for the rest of the season
Sergio Ramos has hailed his side for their efficiency, following their 1-0 victory over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday.
The stopper scored the winning goal against their city rivals to keep the distance between themselves and Barcelona at the league summit, but he preferred to praise his team-mates, after they collectively managed to hold out for all three points, while avoiding a potential upset.
"Team work is what paves the way for titles," said Ramos after the match.
"It was a tough game against an opponent who always makes it difficult for us, but we dealt with them in a very professional manner and attacked forcefully."
Ramos then proceeded to remind Madrid supporters of their immediate targets - to ensure the threat of Barcelona is dealt with.
"The goal is to further increase the gap to Barcelona," concluded the defender.
